Perspektivenforum: Jugend forscht
Experience science, discover new perspectives, and take action yourself. At the Perspektivenforum at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, young talents from across Germany came together after having successfully participated in the Jugend forscht competition.
The event focused on exchanging ideas with scientists, gaining exciting insights into current fields of research, and taking part in a variety of workshops and sessions. At the Wissenschaftshafen, participants had the opportunity to explore a range of scientific topics and areas of work, including at IMIQ.

The robOTTO team was also part of the Perspektivenforum, offering participants an engaging introduction to the exciting field of “AI in Image Processing” in a dedicated session.
Together with the young participants, the team explored how artificial intelligence can analyze images, recognize patterns and structures, and derive information from them. While theoretical foundations provided an important basis, the focus was primarily on hands-on experimentation. Participants had the opportunity to learn how modern AI methods are used in image processing and what possibilities they open up for research, technology, and future applications.
The Perspektivenforum thus provided a unique opportunity to bring together young people with a passion for research and innovation and expose them to the latest developments in science. For the robOTTO team, it was a great pleasure to contribute to this exchange and to share our enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, robotics, and cutting-edge technologies.
